The Onvo L90 is the latest entry in the world of electric SUVs, representing Nio’s venture into three-row models. This performance allows it to outpace the Hyundai Ioniq 9 Performance, which puts out 429 hp, and the 501 hp Kia EV9 GT.

The L90 will feature both nickel manganese cobalt and lithium-iron phosphate battery options. Unlike conventional EVs with rapid charging as a selling point, the L90 leans into Nio’s signature battery swapping technology. This approach provides flexibility for drivers, as swapping batteries can be quicker than waiting for a full charge at a station.

Design & Features

From a design standpoint, the L90 has a rather striking presence. The front end shuns a traditional grille, opting instead for a smaller design at the bumper’s base.
