What’s New?

The automotive world is always evolving, and Ford’s latest move is shaking things up quite a bit with its 2025 Bronco lineup. In a surprising yet smart move, Ford has significantly reduced the price of the Bronco Raptor by over $10,000, reflecting its intent to adapt and stay competitive in the market. Meanwhile, some other trims will see their prices nudge up slightly, reflecting adjustments across the range.
Trim Changes

Base Model Revamp
After being dropped for the 2024 model year, the Base trim is making a comeback. This model will sport a four-cylinder turbo engine paired with a seven-speed manual transmission, LED headlights, and standard 16-inch wheels with all-season tires. Starting price for the Base trim is set at $38,995, with a bumped destination fee of $1,995.
Price Adjustments
Several trims are seeing modest price hikes. The Big Bend now has a starting price of $41,220, up from $40,370, and the two-door Badlands climbs slightly from $50,095 to $50,385. Opt for the 10-speed automatic transmission, and expect to pay $1,795—$300 more than previous pricing. Colors like Velocity Blue and Desert Sand are also seeing an extra $100 added to their cost.
Trims Phasing Out
Ford is also removing some trims from the lineup, such as the Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition. The Stroppe Edition comes in as a replacement, maintaining the adventurous spirit that’s quintessential of the Bronco.
The Good News
Despite these changes, not all news is about price hikes. The Bronco Raptor’s new price is $79,995—down by over $10k from $90,035—making it a more attainable off-road beast. The Badlands trim has also become more affordable, dropping by $1,000 to a new price of $50,385.
While some trims have adjustments, others remain steady. The Heritage Edition and Outer Banks aren’t seeing changes in their pricing as we roll into the new model cycle. Ford’s updated these details into their online configurator so you can explore all the latest features and prices right there.
Driving Experience
Driving the Ford Bronco feels like stepping into adventure. It’s not just about the rugged aesthetics—this SUV performs. Equipping a four-cylinder turbo engine as the base is no slouch, providing adequate power for daily commutes and weekend adventures alike. The higher trim options, like the Raptor, take this experience up a notch with potent engines and enhanced off-road capabilities.
When behind the wheel, the Bronco stands as a strong contender against other off-road giants like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner. Its handling impresses on both rugged terrains and smooth highways. Unlike some of its competitors, it feels right at home no matter where it roams.
