The 2026 Dodge Durango Lineup

The 2026 Dodge Durango is coming in hot with some exciting trim levels that cater to fans of powerful engines and stylish design. Dodge is ramping up for another year of V8 excitement, maintaining the power-packed legacy of the Durango with several options led by the ever-popular Hemi engine.
Trim Options

The Durango lineup for 2026 includes three primary trims. At the entry-level, the GT model features a 3.6-liter V6 engine and a starting price of $38,495. The GT is a solid all-rounder, providing a comfortable ride with a touch of sporty flair, thanks to options like the Blacktop Redline package which offers features like leather and suede upholstery and a performance hood.
Step up to the R/T trim for a bit more under the hood. Priced at $49,995, the R/T houses a 5.7-liter V8 engine that’s known for its captivating growl and strong performance. The new Blacktop Redline package can be added for $3,495, including 20-inch wheels, snazzy SRT spoilers, and unique fender badging that adds a bit of flair to this powerhouse.
If towing is a priority, the Tow N Go package is available for an additional $5,990. This package empowers the Durango to achieve a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds, thanks to features like Brembo brake calipers, wider wheels, and flares, as well as a limited-slip differential and adaptive damping for improved handling.
Return of the Hellcat

The Dodge Durango Hellcat is making a comeback for 2026, ensuring that adrenaline junkies still have a thrill ride option. While Dodge hasn’t spilled all the beans on pricing and exact specifications, hints suggest there might be some tinkering to deliver even more power than before. Anticipation is building, and enthusiasts are keeping their eyes peeled for developments.
Drive Feel
When behind the wheel, each Durango trim has a distinct demeanor. The GT provides a balanced ride, suitable for daily commutes and long road trips alike. Meanwhile, the R/T offers a more expressive experience, with its V8 delivering a punch that makes accelerating feel effortless. Handling is crisp, for a vehicle its size, thanks to the superior engineering features. The Hellcat, with its ferocious engine, catapults drivers into a new realm of excitement, appealing to those who crave performance akin to sports cars.
Roadkill Nights
In addition to new car models, Dodge continues to fuel community passion with Roadkill Nights. This tenth annual event will take place on August 9th in the metro Detroit area. The event line-up promises drag races, car shows, and thrilling rides in the 670-horsepower Charger Daytona Scat Pack.
The vibe hasn’t changed much from its grassroots beginnings, and every year it draws a crowd eager to witness the blend of classic American muscle and modern innovations. Matt McAlear, Dodge’s CEO, highlighted that this tenth-anniversary bash will be the best yet, with more surprises in store.
