The Suzuki S-Presso, primarily a street car from the Maruti Suzuki subsidiary in India, might be an unfamiliar name in the U.S., but it’s well-regarded in Asia and Latin America. Thanks to an innovative revamp by GH Style, a shop in Indonesia, this compact ride has taken on a rugged new look, borrowing cues from the beloved Suzuki Jimny, a vehicle known for its off-road prowess.

Design

The transformation starts with the S-Presso’s front end, which now flaunts a Jimny-inspired grille that replaces the conventional narrow style. Boxier elements integrate smoothly with new circular headlights, featuring distinctive DRLs that enhance visual cohesion. This city car’s new bumper is fitted with blacked-out segments housing yellow fog lights, adding to its fresh, adventurous personality.

In pursuit of a sportier stance, this remodel includes flared wheel arches and black rocker panels. These features contribute to an elevated ride that mirrors off-road capabilities, even if the S-Presso isn’t built for serious off-roading. The enhanced aesthetic is further highlighted by new white wheels, offering a stark yet appealing contrast.

Originally equipped with a 998 cc three-cylinder engine, the S-Presso delivers 67 horsepower and 66 lb-ft of torque. Despite its modest specs, its low curb weight of just over 1,500 lbs ensures it remains agile and lively in urban settings.
