Honda at Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is right around the corner, and Honda is coming in hot with a cinematic twist. This year, their display, dubbed “Magic of the Movies,” will treat visitors to a film set-themed experience. Designed to engage and inform, the venue promises to spotlight Honda’s history and innovations through captivating storytelling.
The centerpiece of Honda’s showcase is the introduction of the Super EV Concept. The excitement builds as this fully-electric vehicle is set to participate in the renowned hill climb event. While the exact design details remain under wraps with a camouflaged prototype making the rounds, anticipation is mounting for what Honda has in store.
Super EV

The Super EV Concept aims to revolutionize city driving. As an A-segment vehicle, it’s designed to deliver an exhilarating yet practical electric experience. Honda is keeping its cards close, but they mention that the prototype has been road-tested in the UK. The vehicle is part of a bigger global strategy, hinting at potentially seeing this model on American roads in the future.
Alongside this futuristic concept, Honda will reveal its Prelude e:HEV model, destined for the US market. It flaunts a brand new S+ Shift system, enhancing the performance of their hybrid engines. Also part of the spectacle is the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition, a swansong for their legendary front-wheel-drive hatchback, taking its place on the starting line to tackle the hill.
60 Years

2025 marks 60 years since Honda’s first victory in Formula 1, which they are celebrating in style at Goodwood. The historic Williams FW11, boasting a formidable 1,500-horsepower V6 Turbo engine, will be tearing up the hill with none other than F1 legend Nigel Mansell in the driver’s seat. This reenacts a chapter in Honda’s illustrious racing story and gives a nod to their championship success all those years ago.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is fast approaching, taking place from July 10-13, 2025. As the event draws closer, expect more automakers like Hyundai, teasing their future-forward models such as the Ioniq 6 N, to join the excitement at Goodwood.
