Earlier this year, Alfa Romeo bid adieu to its Quadrifoglio versions of the Giulia and Stelvio. While some may have hoped for a refresh, that’s not in the cards right now. This new endeavor with Luna Rossa fits right within the Quadrifoglio label’s ethos—power, prestige, and elite performance. Santo Ficili, Alfa’s CEO, pointed out that these upcoming special edition cars will be inspired by the high-seas synergy of the partnership.

Next-gen Alfa Romeo models, such as the Stelvio and Giulia, have hit pause. Although originally slated to evolve into pure electric vehicles, the plan shifted to hybrids due to slower EV adoption rates. This all-time adjustment in strategy also comes with Alfa’s acknowledgment of the evolving car market landscape.
