Affected Models

Models built from June 5 to October 12, 2024, are affected. This includes the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 and 63 S, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLS 53 SUVs and Coupes, the 2025 Maybach GLS 600, and the 2025 GLE 450 4Matic models among others. A single 2024 GLE 350 4Matic also falls into this recall.

Solutions?

For now, Mercedes is acting swiftly to address the issue, instructing dealers to replace the windshields and ensure the mirrors and attached systems are correctly reinstalled. While no accidents or complaints have been reported yet, prompt action should nip potential problems in the bud.
